Protect your loved ones
A Long Term Companion is closely monitoring the progression of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and we are taking precautions to help prevent the spread of this disease. As always, the safety and wellbeing of our employees, clients, and their families is our highest priority.
While stay-at-home-orders and restrictions continue to evolve, local, state, and national public health authorities still advise seniors and other high-risk adults to avoid close contact with others and to stay at home if possible. Home remains the safest place for older adults, as indications show that the virus spreads more quickly in facilities and larger group or public settings. For this reason, we feel fortunate to be able to provide personalized care and support that helps people remain safely at home or limit exposure in group settings.
We are committed to providing care that helps older adults live and thrive at home through the COVID-19 crises and beyond. A Long Term Companion caregivers are available and able to provide immediate care and support for older adults and their loved ones in our community. We are here to help.
We are vigilant about protecting our staff, clients, and their loved ones from illness, be it the flu, COVID-19, or any other communicable disease. Best practices for infection prevention, hygiene, and safety during the COVID-19 outbreak have been reinforced with our employees. Additionally, we are following updates and guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as well as other agencies and resources. These measures are not new to us as we seek to minimize risk regularly for our clients and staff, regardless of an outbreak such as this new coronavirus.
For the latest information on how to protect yourself and your loved ones, A Long Term Companion recommends following applicable guidance issued by state and local health departments, as well as monitoring the CDC website for the latest information on how to protect yourself and your loved ones.
A Long Term Companion is here to assist you in fulfilling your everyday needs. Nothing is more important to us than your continuing to enjoy the independent life that you deserve, from the comfort of your own home.
Our caregivers do much more than just light housekeeping and meal preparation. A Long Term Companion caregivers provide invaluable companionship, which makes a tremendous difference in the lives of our clients.
